Description:
This workshop, intended for practitioners new to the field, will focus on how to manage the fundamental three pillars of the performance improvement process: Problem Analysis, Evaluation of Valued Results, and Successful Implementation. Workshop participants will be exposed to a variety of common tools and will be given a chance to try those tools on real world examples.

Roger, CPT, is an internationally respected practitioner of Performance Improvement Technology (PIT) and performance consulting. He is the Chief Performance Officer at Addison Consulting and a Certified Performance Improvement Professional (CPT).He is a past president of ISPI and past Chair of the Board and President of the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO). He received ISPI's highest award, Member for Life, and ISPI’s Rummler, Gilbert and Service Awards.

Connecting strategy to business continuity and goals, this workshop presents ‘how best practice organizations do it’ and a novel approach to business continuity through a performance improvement lens. We identify the Business Continuity Model Canvas (BCMC), tools and a high-impact business solution.

Daniela integrates innovative approaches in her work that aim to solve the current business challenges to increase efficiency and efficacy of core business processes, where knowledge is central to organizational performance and shared those at 20 conferences (EMEA, ISPI, APQC, CCHL, ECKM).
John B. Lazar
John B. Lazar Associates
John has been a performance consultant and coach since 1983, including 23 years as an executive coach to executives and senior managers through his company John B. Lazar & Associates. He works with individual leaders and their teams, altering their perspectives, skill sets, and performance to produce socially and emotionally intelligent leadership and management, breakthrough execution and business results.

Performance Improvement in Emerging Economies

Description:
This workshop will introduce participants to the core principles of PI as adjusted to be applicable in donor-funded projects in emerging economies. We will show how different donor-mandated models, including the USAID’s HICD, Local Systems Framework, Capacity Development 2.0, and Journey to Self-Reliance, can be integrated into one coherent approach. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss successful projects and lessons learned, including discussions with HICD champions from Macedonian and Georgian organizations that implemented HICD initiatives.

Klaus Wittkuhn
Managing Partner, Performance Design International
Klaus is the founder and managing partner of performance design international, a company that specializes in the design of performance systems, and of train, a training company focused on performance based training. He studied Political Economics and Educational Science. His first career was in German Airforce. In his second career Klaus entered consulting and was in Senior Management of one of Germany’s biggest consultancies (900 consultants). He has consulted for more than twenty years in a variety of industries, in the public sector, and with NGOs in more than to 30 countries. He is adjunct faculty at two universities, a frequent speaker at international conferences and has published widely.
Klaus is an Honorary Life Member of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) and was the first one to receive the Society’s Geary Rummler Award for the Advancement of Performance Improvement. In addition he had the honor to serve as President of ISPI.
Building Innovating Teams

Description:
During the workshop, the facilitator will elaborate on and illustrate the guiding principles of forming complementing teams that are tasked to create innovative organizational solutions. Working on a case study in teams, the participants will have an opportunity to immediately apply the concepts of innovation and innovative, coalition of interests (CAPI, according to Adizes), as well as a model of creative team-based problem solving through functional engagement of the perceptive and decision-making functions of the team members.

Nenad Dafinchevski is operations manager and organizational development consultant at DETRA center, one of the oldest consulting agencies for organizational development in the country. He is an expert at the fields of: business diagnostics, strategic planning, organizational development and capacity building of human resources. Nenad graduated at Business academy Smilevski-BAS as Bachelor of operations management and after that got his postgraduate degree also at BAS as MBA specialist in strategic management.
Ivan Gjorgjievski
Lecturer, BAS Academy
Ivan Gjorgjievski is lecturer at Business academy Smilevski-BAS. He is an expert in the fields of operations management, first-line management and basic management skills. Ivan graduated at Business academy Smilevski-BAS as Bachelor of operations management and got his postgraduate degree at ISPJR as M.Sc. in human resources management. His passion is Myer-Briggs personality typology that is highly important in team work but it can be used in every day life.
