Guest Authors
What data we collect
If you wish to become a Guest Author and fill the related form, we collect the following information:
- name and surname
- your short bio
- your photo
- your email address
- website (optional)
- link to your Linkedin profile (optional)
We use Contact Form 7, a WordPress plugin, to capture and store your data.
This information is supplied voluntarily, and its accuracy, completeness, and currency shall be the responsibility of the person who wish to be validated as a ISPI-EMEA guest author.
What we do with the information we gather
Once you have filled the form, by clicking on the “send email” button you give us the permission to:
- publish your data in the “Meet the Authors” page of our website when your profile is validated by our Editor Review Board
- publish your articles (and profile) once you have uploaded them and they are reviewed and approved by our Editor Review Board
- send you our periodical newsletter
You may opt-out at any time, if you decide to end the collaboration.
Commenters
What data we collect
If you want to write a comment we collect the following information:
- Name
- Email address
- Your Comment
We use the standard WordPress form to collect and store your data.

ISPI-EMEA doesn’t use profiling cookies
We automatically collect information:
- via Google Analytics: this system uses cookies to collect anonymous IP data for monitoring visitor behaviour patterns on our site.
- via website security software: this software keeps our website safe from hacking attempts by processing anonymous IP data.
ISPI-EMEA uses a WordPress plugin that install Google Analytics on the website and brings Google Analytics reports into the website. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
ISPI-EMEA has activated the IP anonymization function on the plugin to ensure an anonymized collection of visitors’ IP address. That means that Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA
On behalf of ISPI-EMEA, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to ISPI-EMEA. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.
